The Kapcsandy Family Winery was only established in 2005 but has already fostered a superb reputation for producing extremely limited quantities of exceptionally high-quality wine. Roberta’s Reserve in 2014 is a blend of 97% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc made in the mould of the finest Right Bank Bordeaux. This is a deliciously sumptuous release saturated with notes of blue and black fruits, mocha, dried flowers and spices. Although young the tannins are sweet and exceptionally fine-grained, allowing for early consumption but giving enough structure to age.
