Château Kirwan 1983 is a mature Left Bank Bordeaux from the esteemed Troisième Cru Classé Château Kirwan in Margaux. The vineyard spans 35 hectares across the Margaux appellation, predominantly featuring a sandy outcrop atop the Cantenac plateau. The blend is composed of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. Notably, Château Kirwan is among the few estates to maintain high proportions of Petit Verdot in their blends.
