Merchant's description
First produced in 1995, Clos d`Ambonnay comes from a tiny 0.68-hectare walled vineyard planted exclusively to Pinot Noir. This release from the 1996 vintage offers aromas of brioche, roasted hazelnuts, plum tart and citrus. On the palate, the champagne has plenty of depth, with just a splash of cream and structure built around acidity. Very focused and mineral-driven.
