Merchant's description
Château L’If was purchased in 2010 by Jacques Thienpont, who is best known for owning the famous Pomerol estate, Le Pin. The 2017 is a blend of 91% Merlot with 9% Cabernet Franc, offering up delicious scents of black fruits, exotic spices and spring flowers. Medium-bodied, elegant and wonderfully fresh, this is an excellent example of Saint-Émilion and should have excellent cellaring potential.
