Merchant's description
Château La Clotte is an old Saint-Émilion property that was for a long time under the ownership of the Chailleau family but was recently sold to Alain Vauthier of Château Ausone. 1970 broke a run of three bad vintages in a row and many claim it to be one of the finest of the decade.
