Merchant's description
Château La Tour Carnet is a Fourth Growth wine producer owned by French businessman Bernard Magrez since 1999. The 120-hectare estate is one of the oldest in the Médoc, with some of its structure dating back to the 12th century. The 1996 vintage has aged beautifully, showing mature notes of tobacco, leather, dark chocolate, dates and a touch of oak.
