La Vierge Pinot Noir 2014 is a medium-bodied red wine from the Hemel-en-Aarde region of South Africa. Focusing on Pinot Noirs that reflect the relatively cool-climate terroir of the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge in Walker Bay, La Vierge was established in the early 2000s by Peter Clark and boasts 44ha of selected Burgundy clone vineyards at the foothills of Babylonstoren Mountain. This is a mature Pinot Noir with cool-climate poise and elegance, showing soft red berry fruit and earthy, forest floor characteristics.
