Château Lagrange is St-Julien Third Growth classified estate renowned for consistently producing classically styled, tannic and powerful wines, with excellent potential longevity. The 2016 is, once again, a high point in a run of particularly high-quality releases from recent years. A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot, it is concentrated, layered and long. Typically a wine that requires a few years cellaring, this should be superb from 2025 onwards.
