Not produced annually, as every plot of Cheval Blanc holds potential for their Grand Vin, the 2020 vintage of Le Petit Cheval is a blend composed of 59% Cabernet Franc and 41% Merlot, representing 12% of the total production that year. Impressive tannin quality accompanies delightful aromas and flavours of currants, berries, and cherries, with hints of chocolate and walnut. Medium-bodied, the wine possesses a lively and refined character. While it will continue to evolve over the next three to five years, it already exhibits remarkable expression.
