Les Pagodes de Cos 1999 is a full-bodied, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the St-Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux. The second wine of the prestigious St-Estèphe Second Growth, Cos d`Estournel, Les Pagodes de Cos was first produced in 1994. It is made from relatively young vines and is designed to be a more approachable version of the estate`s grand vin. The mature 1999 vintage is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
