Since 1995, superstar boutique producer, Lokoya, has produced an exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon from the steep, mountainous Veeder Peak estate vineyard which sits at 1,800ft in elevation. The 2015 is a brilliant release, exhibiting an immensely deep core of black fruits with subtle inflections of dried herbs, unsmoked cigars and exotic spices. There is youthful appeal here if given a lengthy decant, however, the best will be revealed over the next 15-20+ years.
