Merchant's description

Ranked as a Pauillac Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification, Château Lynch-Moussas was acquired by Jean Castéja in 1919 and the subsequent generations of the Castéja family have developed, modernised and enhanced this Grand Cru d’Excellence. The 2005 vintage is a beautiful blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon and 29% Merlot. Ruby colour with black hues. Complex and elegant nose dominated by fresh red fruit. Rich texture on the palate which shows a solid tannic backbone with plenty of woody and toasted notes. Its long and striking finish promises a superb longevity.
