World-renowned Château Margaux was one of four wines to achieve Premier Cru status in the original Bordeaux Classification of 1855. It has been owned by the Mentzelopoulos family since 1978 and consistently produced some of the elegant wines in the Médoc. This release is the 2006 vintage of its Grand Vin, a blend composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. A vintage characterised by aromatic finesse, tannic richness and a dense and tight-knit structure, concluding on a fresh and lively finish.
