Marojallia 2005 is a full-bodied, Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. Château Marojallia is a well-respected, 6ha Margaux property until recently owned by Domaines Philippe Percheron. In 2023 the property was sold to the Fourth Growth Château Marquis de Terme, which now uses the fruit from the Marojallia vineyards to produce its own wine. Therefore the 2022 vintage was the last to be labelled as Château Marojallia. On the 2005 vintage. "Billing itself as the first `garage wine` from the appellation of Margaux, this comes from a property owned by Philippe Porcheron. The wine, made with meticulous care by the partnership of Muriel Andraud and Jean-Luc Thunevin, consistently performs well above its pedigree. Still youthful, exuberant and rich, this wine has a dense ruby/purple colour and beautiful notes of violets, graphite and crème de cassis as well as some blueberry fruit. It is well-endowed, medium to full-bodied, and stunningly proportioned. This wine should continue to evolve and drink well for another 15 or more years." Wine Advocate, 2013
