Monthélie Roulot 2023 is a Pinot Noir from the Monthélie appellation inx. Sourced from a vineyard with limestone-rich soils, the wine displays the classic, aromatic spice and velvet-like texture associated with this charming village. Dark cherry, black raspberry and subtle floral notes unfold on the nose, while the palate is supple, deep and remarkably refined. Monthélie sits in a slight amphitheatre tucked behind Volnay, and the resulting microclimate is consistently cooler, which allows the Pinot Noir to retain a bright, crunchy acidity that makes it one of the most drinkable, refreshing red wines in the region.
