One of the most iconic wine estates in the world, Château Mouton-Rothschild is located in Pauillac, around 30 miles north-west of the city of Bordeaux. This is the 2019 vintage of its flagship wine, presented here in a large 3-litre bottle. A blend composed of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, the wine is highly expressive on the nose, offering notes of blackberries, black cherries and liquorice. Smooth and opulent on the palate, with a mouth-coating layer of sweetness and powerful tannins. Beautifully rich overall, culminating in a succulent and harmonious finish. The 2019 bespoke label was designed by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson.
