Merchant's description

Produced from a parcel of vines acquired in 1986 by Domaine Drouhin Laroze, spanning 0.12 ha. Matured in 100% new oak barrels. The 2019 vintage is reviewed by Vinous as follows, `The 2019 Musigny Grand Cru, from a site adjacent to the white vines of De Vogue contained 25% whole bunch this year and is aged entirely in new wood. It has a tightly would bouquet, nicely focused yet sultry at the moment prior to racking. The palate is elegant on the entry and soaks up the new wood more efficently than the previous Grand Crus from the Domaine. Silky in texture, it feels quite dense and persistent, though clams up towards the finish.`
