Based in Prémeaux-Prissey, Domaine de la Vougeraie was formed in 1999 when wine entrepreneur Jean-Claude Boisset decided to consolidate all the vineyard holdings of his various négociant companies acquired over the years. With nearly 40 hectares of vineyard area and over 30 different appellations, this is undoubtedly one of Burgundy’s leading estates. This cuvée comes from Musigny Grand Cru where Vougeraie owns a 0.21-hectare plot of biodynamic vines. The 2020 vintage was aged for 16 months in oak barrels [28% new] and bottled on 7th February 2022. A limited production of only 961 bottles.
