Domaine Aurélien Verdet Nuits St Georges Les Damodes 2013 is a full-bodied red Burgundy from the Premier Cru climat of Les Damodes in the commune of Nuits St Georges in the Côte de Nuits. Aurélien Verdet is based in the village of Arcenant in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. Working with organically farmed vineyards, he produces strikingly terroir-transparent Burgundy Pinot Noirs which represent excellent value in relation to some of his more illustrious peers. "Intense cherry, raspberry, mineral and licoricey flavours make a compelling case for this chewy red. Dense tannins offer support but remain integrated, while the flavours persist on the long aftertaste. Best from 2018 through 2032" Wine Spectator, 2013
