Louis Latour is a well-established name in Burgundy, renowned for crafting wines from their extensive 50-hectare domaine in the Côte d’Or, as well as sourcing grapes and wines through their négociant operation. This cuvée comes from ‘Les Damodes’, a 8.55-hectare Premier Cru situated at the northern end of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The soil here consists of a layer of fine gravel on top of blocks of the pink marble of Premeaux. Expect notes of red cherries, strawberries and cranberries, supported by moderate acidity and just a hint of forest floor.
