Ornellaia must surely be considered one of the ultimate expressions of Bolgheri in Tuscany. From the superb 1997 vintage, this is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. This is opulent and rich with dark fruit and smokey overtones. Drink now alongside roasted lamb.
