The first ‘Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill’ was from the 1975 vintage and was released in 1984, with the launch taking place at Blenheim Palace. The 1998 vintage was marked by a cool and wet spring, which delayed flowering and led to a small crop. However, the summer was warm and dry, which allowed the grapes to ripen fully.
