Pommard Les Perrières Vincent Dancer 2018 is a single-vineyard red Burgundy crafted from Pinot Noir grapes grown in a 0.88-hectare plot. The vineyard, located just south of Beaune, boasts a small area under one hectare, planted in 2012. The vineyard is cultivated under the attentive management of Alsatian Vincent Dancer, one of the most respected Burgundy vignerons of his generation. This 2018 wine exhibits pronounced aromatics of dark fruit alongside floral notes. The palate shows a fine balance with its red fruit character, revealing an elegance that may remind one of Chambolle.
