Formed in 2005, Bachelet-Monnot is a relatively newcomer in Burgundy. The domaine was established by two young brothers, Alex and Marc Bachelet, who cultivate a combination of family-owned and leased vineyards, covering a total of 20 appellations. This release is their 2020 ‘Les Folatières’, a well-regarded premier cru vineyard in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation. A brilliant year for Burgundy, 2020 was the first vintage since 2015 to be equally strong for red and white wines.
