Merchant's description

Château Raymond-Lafon is a wine estate located approximately 50km southeast of the city of Bordeaux. Established by Raymond Lafon in 1850, the estate currently encompasses 16 hectares of vineyards within the Sauternes appellation. The 2003 vintage of Château Raymond-Lafon has reached an excellent stage, showcasing vibrant melon notes and undertones of honey, caramel, plus a lingering touch of brown sugar on the finish. The wine maintains a well-balanced acidity, skilfully avoiding any excessive sweetness.
