Formed in 1988, Domaine A.F. Gros is a family-owned estate producing red Burgundy from a variety of appellations. Anne-Françoise’s children Caroline and Mathias are currently at the forefront of the business, which is headquartered in Pommard. Their 2005 vintage of Richebourg Grand Cru, sourced from a 0.6-hectare plot, exhibits a predominantly black fruit nose, featuring blackberries and blueberries, accompanied by some farmyard aromas and a subtle touch of eucalyptus. The palate is remarkably smooth and velvety, showcasing a well-rounded core of black fruit flavours and a long, delightful finish.
