Merchant's description
Château Rieussec, Premier Cru Classé in 1855, has long been considered one of the greatest sweet wines in Sauternes. The 2006 is a blend of 94% Sémillon 3% Sauvignon Blanc and 3% Muscadelle. On the nose, floral notes of honeysuckle and acacia mingle with candied fruit character carrying through to a wonderfully honeyed palate with a long, fruity finish and good freshness.
