Merchant's description

Founded at the start of the 20th century, Armand Rousseau is a leading wine producer in Burgundy, currently managed by Eric Rousseau with the assistance of his daughter Cyriell. The Domaine is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and consists of approximately 15 hectares, over half of which is situated in Grand Cru sites. This release comes from Ruchottes-Chambertin, one of Gevrey-Chambertin`s lesser-known Grand Cru sites. The 1998 vintage produced reds that were firm and tightly structured in their youth but are now showing their true potential.
