Ruinart Blanc Singulier Edition 19 is an expressive, zero-dosage Blanc de Blancs Champagne made entirely from Chardonnay. Created around the warm 2019 growing season, it combines generous fruit and an enveloping texture with the freshness that defines the Ruinart style. Tasting notes Bright golden yellow with subtle green highlights. Aromas of nectarine and Nashi pear meet lightly candied citrus, white flowers, honeysuckle and smoky saffron nuances. The palate opens with lively freshness before revealing a rich, rounded texture, layered white fruit and citrus flavours, and a long finish with delicate bitterness. Blend and winemaking The blend comprises 77% wines from the 2019 harvest and 23% perpetual reserve wines. Half of the reserve is stored in oak casks and half in stainless steel vats. Hand-harvested Chardonnay is sourced from Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Grande Vallée de la Marne, Vallée du Petit Morin, Sézannais and Vitryat. Temperature-controlled fermentation, full malolactic fermentation and three years of cellar ageing develop its distinctive balance of freshness and texture.
