Domaine Petit-Roy Saint-Romain En Chevrot 2021 is a medium-bodied, single-vineyard Burgundy white wine from the Saint-Romain appellation in the Côte de Beaune. Having trained at such illustrious domaines as Bize, Mugnier, Rousseau and Leflaive, winemaker Seiichi Saito established his own domaine in Chorey-les-Beaune in 2016. Here he produces an exciting and increasingly sought-after range of low-intervention wines. His En Chevrot cuvée was naturally fermented in barrel with no added sulphur and matured in used barrels for about 11 months before bottling. Expect complex notes of ripe citrus and quince along with bright acidity and a saline minerality.
