Created in 1994 by Manfred and Elaine Krankl, Sine Qua Non is probably the most famous of all the California cult wineries and is renowned for exceptionally limited quantities of wines made from the classic Rhône Valley varieties. The 2012 Stock Syrah is a blend of 84% Syrah, 7% Grenache, 6% Petit Sirah, and the rest Viognier and Mourvèdre. Expect a beautiful black fruited profile, with meaty, peppered complexity.
