Drink it now or cellar for up to 5 years. No need to decant. Solomnishvili is a small, family-run winery in Georgia with just 0.2 hectares of vineyards, managed personally (and manually) by Giorgi Solomnishvili, one of the country's finest winemakers. The limited quantities, the meticulous care given to the vineyards, and the attention to detail in the cellar allow Giorgi to produce exceptional wines that reflect the best of Georgian viticulture with style and great respect for the terroir and the country's winemaking traditions. Mtsvane is a native Georgian white grape variety, particularly widespread in the Kakheti wine region, where the cool climate allows it to best express its aromatic and fresh character. Solomnishvili Mtsvane is a harmonious and elegant white wine that opens on the nose with a fresh and lively aromatic profile, with notes of green apple and tropical fruit, followed by floral hints of jasmine and orange blossom on a mineral background of wet stone. On the palate, it is light and balanced, refreshing and crisp, with a good complexity of flavors and a bright acidity. The finish is long and blends notes of citrus and pineapple. On its own, it makes an excellent aperitif, but it's also perfect with grilled fish and seafood.
