Merchant's description
Vignobles Chirat La Côte St-Joseph 2020 is the flagship wine of the Chirat domaine, produced from old-vine Syrah from the north of the St-Joseph appellation. Fermented with 25% whole bunches, the wine is matured for 12 months in 500l French oak barrels and 25hl Austrian foudre. Loaded with ripe dark berry fruit, sweet liquorice, bacon and baking spices, this young Syrah is impeccably balanced with well-integrated oak and fine-grained tannins.
