Merchant's description

Stéphane Ogier Syrah La Rosine 2015 is a medium-bodied red wine from the Northern Rhône Valley. Stéphane Ogier joined his family`s wine business in 1997. Having overseen a complete renovation of the cellars and introduced several new cuvées, Ogier is now considered among the finest producers in the Northern Rhône. His La Rosine cuvée is produced from Syrah vines planted on decomposed granite soil in the Collines Rhodaniennes appellation. "The 2015 Syrah la Rosine Vin de Pays is atypically concentrated and tannic, deserving of short-term cellaring. This medium to full-bodied wine delivers aromas and flavors of roasted meat, black olives, blackberries, black tea and espresso." Wine Advocate, 2017
