Merchant's description

With its origins dating back to 1734, Taittinger remains one of the few champagne producers to be owned and managed by the actual family named on the label. Today Taittinger is stocked in over 140 countries worldwide and it made history in recent years by becoming the first champagne house to purchase land in England to ultimately produce a premium English Sparkling Wine. This particular release is a vintage champagne from the 1998 harvest. 1998 was a remarkable vintage in Champagne, as the quality and quantity of the grapes surpassed all expectations.
