We are delighted to have shipped another incarnation of ‘Tanners Super Claret’, this time from stalwart producer, Château Cissac. What’s in the glass? A classical Haut-Médoc from this great Bordeaux vintage. Graphite and gravels combine with attractive new oak and rich cassis fruit. Medium bodied, fresh and supple, with a pleasing intensity which evolves to a lengthy, moreish, savoury finish. A terrific step-up from Tanners Claret while remaining true to type – there is no better partner at the moment for your Sunday Roast, and much more besides.
