Le Tertre Roteboeuf is one of the unsung stars of St-Émilion often overlooked in favour of its more glamorous neighbours, yet since 1989, this 6-hectare estate has been producing some of the appellation’s finest wines. 2005 was widely lauded as an exceptional vintage and this is a stunningly seamless release of incredible perfume, richness of fruit and spicy complexity. Though excellent to drink now, this should continue to evolve over the next 20-25 years.
