Merchant's description
The Laird is Torbreck’s icon wine which is produced from a single 5-acre vineyard planted in 1958 and is only released in exceptional vintages. The 2006 is an astonishing wine with unbelievably complex layers of black fruit, kirsch, baking spice, juniper, lavender, earth and tobacco. It is full-bodied and loaded with fruit, yet supremely balanced by super-fine tannins and refreshing acidity.
