It is a well-balanced and juicy wine that makes a great aperitif but also pairs deliciously with fish carpaccio, poultry or creamy cow cheeses such as Saint Marcellin.

Merchant's description

Drink it now or cellar for up to 8 years. No need to decant. Located in the village of Cornas, in the Rhône Valley, the Domaine Vincent Paris was founded in the 90s from a few hectares of vines. Over the years, the estate has been expanded and today covers 10 hectares which include high-quality parcels in both the Saint-Joseph and Cornas appellations. The vines are grown in a sustainable way, without insecticides or chemical fertilizers, and limiting treatments to the bare minimum. The winery produces wines of excellent quality and widely appreciated by critics. The Granit Blanc by Vincent Paris is produced from a blend of Viognier and Roussanne from vineyards that are about twenty years old, located in the northern area of the Cornas appellation, where the cool climatic conditions guarantee optimal maturation for white grapes without any alcohol excess. The terrain is typical of the Cornas appellation, with very disintegrated, almost sandy granite. Production is limited to around 4,000 bottles a year. The wine has an aromatic character with scents of stone fruit and exotic fruit and delicate notes of white flowers. On the palate, it is fresh and elegant, with a pleasant creamy texture. It is a well-balanced and juicy wine that makes a great aperitif but also pairs deliciously with fish carpaccio, poultry or creamy cow cheeses such as Saint Marcellin.
