The Ángel Sequeiros Albariño Foudre 2021 is a dry white wine from Rías Baixas, Galicia. This wine is produced by the family-run Quinta A Gaviñeira, a 7.4-hectare estate with Albariño vines, some of which are nearly a century old. This wine is fermented in steel tanks and then matured on its fine lees for 11 months in a large French oak foudre, including six months of weekly bâtonnage. The resulting wine offers a defined bouquet of orange blossom, apricot and white flowers, with a well-balanced palate that showcases crisp acidity, a silky texture and a persistent, complex finish with honeyed, walnut-tinged notes.
