Antica Terra is the exciting project of ex-Sine Qua Non assistant winemaker, Maggie Harrison. Based in the Eola-Amity Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Harrison’s winemaking philosophy follows no formula but her attention to detail is remarkable, resulting in wines of exceptional quality yet immense personality. Harrison describes Botanica as a wine that tends to be sappy and sanguine, with “a taste of wild rose, sour cherries and blood orange”. Though incredibly concentrated it is typically hallmarked by abundant fresh and pronounced mineral tension.
