The Anysbos Disdit 2022 is a highly regarded white blend from the Bot River region of the Western Cape, South Africa. It is a Chenin Blanc-dominant blend with 69% Chenin Blanc, 13% Roussanne, 12% Marsanne and 6% Grenache Blanc, all dry-farmed from the estate`s Bokkeveld shale soils. The wine is made by Marelise Niemann using minimal intervention, including whole-bunch pressing and spontaneous fermentation in seasoned 225-litre French oak barrels where it rests for 10 months. The profile displays seductive aromatics of white peach, crushed seashells, jasmine and dried fynbos, followed by a concentrated palate that offers juicy yellow stone fruit flavours, almond and a long, chalky finish.
