The Arso 2020 from Tenuta Bocca di Lupo, located in the Murgia area of Puglia, is a 100% Cabernet Franc that embodies both tradition and innovation. The estate, known for its calcareous-tuff soils and organic farming practices, lies at 300 meters above sea level, providing optimal conditions for this unique wine. The vineyard’s distinctive terroir, shaped by marine sediments and exceptional day-night temperature fluctuations, allows Cabernet Franc to thrive in an unexpected southern setting, challenging the perception of this grape variety in Puglia. Gapes were hand-harvested and meticulously selected to ensure only the healthiest berries were used. After destemming, the berries underwent a 20-day maceration at controlled temperatures, followed by malolactic fermentation and ageing in French oak.
