Bibi Graetz Balocchi No.7 2021 is a full-bodied Cabernet Franc red wine produced in the Tuscany region of central Italy. Brought up in a family of artists, Bibi Graetz had no formal training as a winemaker when he first set up his business in 2000, but his wines are now among the most sought-after in Tuscany. Working mainly with Ansonica for whites and Sangiovese for reds, he describes his model for winemaking as `Californian`, producing concentrated, vividly expressive wines from old vines spread around his winery in Fiesole. Balocchi No.7 is a limited-edition Cabernet Franc produced in tiny quantities – just 1,200 bottles – from old vines in Olmo, Fiesole.
