Kinsman Eades Rhadamanthus 2017 is a full-bodied single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Yountville AVA of California`s Napa Valley. Kinsman Eades is the new project of Accendo Cellars winemaker Nigel Kinsman and his partner, Shae. Nigel`s vision was to produce two site-driven expressions of Cabernet using minimal-intervention winemaking techniques. Rhadamanthus is from the Diamond Mountain AVA and incorporates 16% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec. "This is throwing off all kinds of vibrant violet, sweet tobacco, lilac, singed alder, juniper and sweet bay leaf accents, while the prodigious core of steeped plum, blackberry and black currant fruit waits in reserve. A cast iron bolt through the finish keeps everything in line, and when the fruit unwinds fully, this should deliver a pretty unique experience." Wine Spectator, 2021
