Château Lynch-Bages is one of the finest estates in the Pauillac appellation, known for producing wines that combine structure and elegance. Since 1939, the estate has been successfully run by the Cazes family, who also owns other properties in Bordeaux such as Château Haut-Batailley. In the 1990s, Lynch-Bages launched a white wine – Blanc de Lynch-Bages – from a blend composed of Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle. Aged for 6 months on the lees, the wine reveals floral and fruity notes, with hints of lanolin and sweet vanilla.
