The cuvée was created to represent an outstanding vintage, showcasing the finest expression of Bollinger`s winemaking prowess. `La Grande Année` is crafted only in exceptional years when the harvest yields grapes of exceptional quality and maturity. The 2002 release is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, aged for 8 years on the lees. Expect complex fruit and floral notes and a creamy palate leading to a long, evolving finish.
