Merchant's description

R.D stands for “Recently Disgorged” and was an innovation of Madame Bollinger who wished to release a Champagne that would be released ready to drink and would combine extraordinary freshness with greater aromatic complexity. From the exceptional 2002 vintage, this is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from 23 separate crus (71% Grands crus and 29% Premiers curs).
