Ca`Marcanda was established in Bolgheri in 1996 and represented Angelo Gaja`s desire to produce world-class wines using Bordeaux varieties. Made from an assemblage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and matured in for 18 months in fine French oak barrels.
