Caballo Loco No 21 is a unique, multi-vintage red blend from Valdivieso in Chile, produced using a solera-like system. This bottling contains 50% of the previous edition blended with the best fruit from the current harvest, meaning it contains components of every Caballo Loco ever produced since the mid-nineties. The blend includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah and Carmenere sourced from prime sites in Maipo and Colchagua. Because it is a non-vintage wine, it focuses on consistency and incredible depth rather than a single year`s character. The profile is remarkably complex, offering layers of dark fruit, cedar, chocolate and dried herbs with a seamless, velvety texture.
